Platina is an eco-friendly laminated tube designed in line with “Recycle” – one of EPL’s key sustainability themes.

Platina tubes are produced with less than 5% barrier resin and have received recognition from the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), USA, as consistently meeting or exceeding the most stringent APR HDPE Critical Guidance criteria.

Often a key challenge when developing recyclable tubes is the compromise in terms of a tube’s barrier properties, leading to a reduction in shelf-life of the tube’s contents. The Platina range of HDPE tubes does not face this issue as it is designed to deliver source reduction and recyclability without the loss of any barrier properties. This allows for sustained product stability and durable shelf life of the packed content. Platina is especially suited for oral, toiletries, and food brands.

Our PLATINA PRO range of HDPE tube is designed to deliver extraordinary chemical resistance, product stability, flavour retention and a rich feel to touch. It is especially suited for oral, toiletries and food products.

Often the key challenge when replacing Aluminium barrier tube it to match its barrier properties. When flavour retention of the product becomes more critical then Platina Pro is the preferred choice.

Platina ME

Platina Vision

Etain

Etain is a new, fully-recyclable packaging tube from EPL. It has been made using a percentage of recycled material with the aim of reducing the amount of virgin plastic in tube packaging. Etain tubes are made with resins recycled under Code 2 norms defined by ASTM. It contains up to 50% PCR HDPE plastic material.

Etain tubes are typically used by FMCG companies for packaging various types of beauty and skin care, pharmaceutical and food products. It is made from recycled plastic material and is fully recyclable, enabling it to go back into the same process that it came from.

Etain PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) tubes were launched at the ‘Interpack’ exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, held on April 24, 2008. It is highly customizable and the amount of PCR can be varied depending upon customer requirements and the nature of the product that is contained within the package. Etain is the first of many products from EPL addressing sustainability. It makes an effort to ensure that the lifecycle of a product does not destroy its source or the environment.

Super Titanium

Super Titanium is a new tube alternative where “less is more” absolutely holds true. A key challenge with material source reduction is that it at times can lead to compromises with respect to packaging functionality. Developed with EPL’s family of next-generation polymers, the Super Titanium range of tubes addresses this by keeping input materials at a bare minimum without losing any of the key characteristic functional properties needed by clients. As such, Super Titanium tubes help in reducing the product’s carbon footprint, making it an eco-friendly choice when it comes to sustainable packaging. Super Titanium tubes also provide greater product stability, exhibit extended shelf-life properties and possess a rich exterior look and feel. Clarion is a high clarity UV shield tube. With this innovation your search for eye catching high clarity see through tube ends and enables brand visibility and lets your product do the branding for you. EPL’s Creativity & Innovation team know-how on raw material and process controls has been instrumental in developing a tube structure that provides glass-like clarity with UV shield properties between 175nm to 400nm. This Tube with UV shield, protects the content against rancidity and color fading. Elegant looking, high clarity tubes enable the filled product to see through with its natural color and texture thus attracting customer attention. Clarion tubes can be printed with high definition innovative graphics incorporating sensory elements. Clarion tubes have passed the stringent product stability tests at EPL laboratory and are found suitable for packing oral care, beauty & cosmetic products such as face wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioners.
